What a GPU does for video editing, and how much you need
A GPU speeds up some editing steps and does nothing for others. Find which step is slow on your machine before you spend a rupee.
OPPO launches the Find X10 series in India on 22 October 2026 at 4:45 pm IST. The China spec sheet lists 8K at 30fps, 4K at 120fps and a 200MP main camera. India prices are not announced, and the leaks differ by ₹50,000. Wait for launch-day reviews before you book.
Three price leaks for one phone, and none of them agree. That is the state of the OPPO Find X10 three days before it reaches India, so a post that simply repeats "starts at ₹90,000" would be guessing.
The OPPO Find X10 is a flagship Android phone with a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide, already on sale in China since 22 September 2026. This guide separates what OPPO has confirmed from what tipsters have leaked, then gives you a test list for launch day so you judge the video yourself.
The India launch is on 22 October 2026 at 4:45 pm IST, according to OPPO's India website as reported by 91mobiles. The global debut is the day before, on 21 October in Mallorca, Spain.
Here is what is solid and what is still a rumour, as of 19 October 2026.
| Detail | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|
| India launch 22 October, 4:45 pm IST | Confirmed by OPPO | 91mobiles |
| Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in India | Reported lineup, with Pad Mini and Enco X4 alongside | MySmartPrice |
| IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings | Confirmed by OPPO | Sunday Guardian |
| India price | Not announced | All outlets |
| India camera and video specs | Not announced, China specs listed in the video section | Notebookcheck |
OPPO also advertises a ₹9 Privilege Pack with benefits worth up to ₹29,997. MySmartPrice notes the benefits are prize-based, so read the terms before you count them as a discount.
Nobody knows yet. Three different numbers are floating around, and they come from tipsters and retail estimates, never from OPPO.
| Source | Find X10 | Find X10 Pro Max |
|---|---|---|
| Tipster Gadgets Data, via 91mobiles (15 Oct) | ₹1,29,999 (12GB + 256GB) | ₹1,59,999 or ₹1,89,999 (12GB + 512GB) |
| Retail box MRP, tipster Abhishek Yadav, via Digit (14 Oct) | ₹1,79,999 | ₹2,39,999 |
| Estimate in Cashify | ₹90,000 to ₹1,00,000 | Not given |
Here is the idea I would keep: a box MRP and a launch price are different numbers. The same Digit report quotes the tipster saying the real selling price should be "well below the MRP". A printed MRP can be far higher than the street price after bank offers, so a leaked box price tells you the ceiling and nothing more.
For scale, 91mobiles points out the Find X9 started at ₹74,999 in India. The ₹1,29,999 leak would be about ₹55,000 (roughly 73%) higher. If that leak is right, this is a big jump for a creator who wants a video phone, and it makes the comparison with your current phone more important.
On the China model, the rear cameras shoot 8K at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps, and the front camera shoots 4K at up to 60fps, per Notebookcheck. Those are China figures. OPPO has not published India video specs.
The camera set on the standard Find X10, from the same review:
The Pro Max goes further on paper. Pro Video Coalition reports OPPO's claims of 8K Log across the whole zoom range, O-Log2 through Blackmagic Camera app integration, OpenGate recording and Tilta accessory support. Treat those as manufacturer claims until someone tests them.
91mobiles also lists 4K at 120fps with Dolby Vision for the Pro Max. Sources disagree on the Pro Max chip name (Dimensity 9600 Pro in some, 9600M in others), which tells you how early this is.
A 65mm equivalent telephoto gives you the flattering, low distortion look that product films depend on, so this lens may matter more to you than the 200MP number.
Wide lenses stretch objects near the edges.
A bottle, a pair of earbuds or a serum looks bigger and slightly warped when you film it at 23mm from close up. A longer lens lets you stand back and keep the shape true. When I film a product, the first thing I check is how the object's edges look at the distance I need, and a 65mm view solves that without a camera bag.
That line comes from filming products. I have not tested this phone. Whether the Find X10's telephoto holds focus on a close subject, and how it handles low light at f/2.6, is something only a hands-on review will show. For the filming side of this, how to shoot a product reel people share covers hooks and shots that earn shares.
Run the same short test on every launch-day review and compare it to the phone you own. A reviewer may not shoot your kind of video, so use their footage for a rough idea and then check these seven things.
Write the results in a notes app against your current phone. If the gain is small, keep the money.
If you want to see how I plan a shoot around a kit, I share my work on Instagram and YouTube. Watch how much of every video is light and sound before it is phone.
Wait for reviews if your budget is under ₹1 lakh, because the leaked prices put the Find X10 over that mark. Nobody has tested the India units yet, so no honest verdict exists on 19 October.
Here is a simple way to decide, by the kind of creator you are.
| If you are... | Do this |
|---|---|
| A student or beginner with a phone that shoots 4K | Skip the launch and spend on a microphone and one light |
| A reel maker who wants a better telephoto | Wait for the official price and one video-focused review |
| A creator who already owns a ₹1 lakh class phone | Compare your own footage with the reviews, then decide |
| A small brand shooting its own product videos | Check the 65mm lens and 4K at 60fps first, and ignore the 8K headline |
If you use a laptop for editing, 8K files get heavy quickly, and what a GPU does for video editing explains which part of your machine will struggle first.
OPPO will launch the Find X10 series in India on 22 October 2026 at 4:45 pm IST, according to its India website. The global launch happens the day before in Mallorca, Spain. The Pad Mini and Enco X4 earbuds are listed for the same event.
OPPO has not announced it. Leaks range from ₹1,29,999 to a printed MRP of ₹1,79,999 for the Find X10, so the final number could land anywhere in that gap. Wait for the official price on 22 October.
The China model records 8K at 30fps on its rear cameras and 4K at up to 120fps, per Notebookcheck. OPPO has not confirmed the India video modes yet. Check the India spec page on launch day.
The Pro Max is reported to have three 200MP cameras, a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chip and a 6.78-inch display. The standard model uses the Dimensity 9600M and has a 200MP main, 200MP periscope and 50MP ultrawide. Both have an 8,000mAh battery in reports.
The specs point that way, with 8K, 4K at 120fps, OpenGate and a 65mm telephoto. But nobody has tested the India units, so there is no verdict yet. Test its stabilisation, audio and low light against your current phone before you pay.
It is a newer phone with a new Dimensity chip, and the leaked price is much higher too. The Find X9 started at ₹74,999 in India, per 91mobiles. Compare real footage and the final price before you decide.
